Description:
The Lalbagh Fort in Old Dhaka, illuminated by Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) on its 50th anniversary programme. A relic from the Mughal empire, its construction began in 1678 by Prince Muhammad Azam who could not complete the work and his successor, Shaista Khan did not continue it. At the palace complex there is a shrine for Shaista Khans daughter Bibi Pari, who died here in 1684. Dhaka, Bangladesh. August 12, 2006.
