Description:
Pickled olives decorated with multi-coloured vegetables and onions are on sale in the Fez medina (the old walled part of a North African town), Morocco. In Morocco, olives are used as appetisers and served with herbs such as thyme, rosemary, and oregano while the crushed olives are used as to produce fuel and for making Saboun El Baldi (black soap).
