Description:
A group of children at the government run Pul-e-Rangeena Primary School for girls, in the northwestern city of Herat, Afghanistan. May 6, 2009. Around 9000 children attend this school in three shifts. As a large number of children are returning to the school after years of conflict, it is difficult for the school management to house them all in proper classrooms and hundreds of children have to attend claases in the open.
