Description:
A makeshift bridge connects between baranggays Binitayan and Kilikao in Daraga, Albay, the Bicol region in the Philippines. The steel bridge was destroyed as super typhoon Durian battered the region on December 1, 2006, leaving thousands of people homeless, and killing close to 2,000 residents. Mudflow, sand, lava rocks and water coming from nearby Mt. Mayon volcano rendered the province in a state of calamity. Philippines. December 13, 2007.
