The archaeological remains of Itakhola Mura in Mainamati. The Mainamati-Lalmai range is an isolated 11mile long spur of dimpled hills, 8 kilometers west of Comilla and 114 kilometers southeast of Dhaka. Exploration on this range has revealed over 50 ancient sites dotting the hills, mostly containing various types of Buddhist remains of the 8th to 12th centuries AD. Bangladesh. April 30, 2009.
