Bangladesh - China Friendship Conference Centre one of the world's biggest and most modern convention centers. Situated at Sher-e-Banglanagar, Dhaka, the conference centre was constructed with the technical and financial co-operation of China and was originally intended to house the 13th summit of the 114-member Non-Aligned Movement (NAM). It was originally named as Bangabandhu International Conference Centre. But during the formal handing over ceremony held on 12 January 2002 the centre was renamed as Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre. Dhaka, Bangladesh. August 4, 2007.
