A smiling child at the Rayer Bazaar Killing Grounds in Dhaka city on the Martyred Intellectuals Day 2009. During the Liberation War of 1971, a large number of teachers, doctors, engineers, poets and writers were killed allegedly by Pakistan Army and their local collaborators the Al-Badr and Al-Shams militia.
