Description:
Children scavenge through the empty drums for any drop of diesel they can find. They use a long metal rod with a piece of small sponge in front of it to collect left out oil. Once oil is collected, they filter it using ordinary piece of cloth. By selling this filtered oil each one of them manage to earn between 40-60 Taka per day. But there is a price to pay for earning so much money. Diesel burns their hands and causes painful infection. Dhaka, Bangladesh.
