Chamank, 12, places donkey dung, mixed with dried grass and water, into the crevices of rocks for drying so that it can be used as fuel for cooking and heating, in the village of Dar-e-Buzgala, in the central Bamyan Province. Their community consists of 10 families, or about 80 people, who constantly move in search of greener pastures for their cattle. Though their lifestyle ensures food for their herds and hence for their families, but it also keeps children out of school. Children must help the women with domestic chores and farming.
