Basgul, 6, an ethnic Hazara girl, collects a large bowl full of dung to mix it with dried grass and make dung cakes to be used as fuel for cooking, in the village of Zargaran in central Bamyan province. She and her six sisters help out with domestic chores, and making carpets. While Basgul is not yet old enough for school, several of her sisters attend and hope to continue. Afghanistan.
