Yunus and his organization Grameen Bank was selected for Nobel Peace Prize in 2006. He is the first ever winning person from Bangladesh. The founder of Grameen Bank, who is dubbed as Banker for poor, got the most prestigious honour in the world for his Micro credit concept.
