Li Qiaoma, 85-year-old former Commander-in-chief of cavalryman unit, is spending his old age solitarily. He was able to return home in Yongde just once in 1998 after he left home at the age of 24 and could not manage to go back home to meet his son ever again because of his sickness of senile diseases. Moreover, he doesnt have enough money to send to his son who is also destitute and unable to visit him in Thailand.
