The 80th National Headliner Award winners were announced this week
honoring the best journalism in newspapers, photography, radio,
television and online. The awards were founded in 1934 by the Press Club
of Atlantic City. The annual contest is one of the oldest and largest
in the country that recognizes Journalistic merit in the communications
industry.
A.M. Ahad won the 1st place award in the category for Magazines, news
services or syndicates spot news photography for his story "Victim”,
published in the Associated Press, New York, N.Y.
