City dwellers and the people of slum areas in Kolkata suffer by this disastrous water crisis most of the time. For example the common people of Tangra slum area in East Kolkata face this tremendous water crisis through out the year. It is observed that most of the water-outlets are damaged in the slum areas. There are no necessary steps from Governmental end to repair these outlets to overcome the water crisis at slums in Kolkata. India. August 12, 2005.
