Thousands of people turned out to see colourful dancing dragons in a blaze of red and gold costumes to celebrate the Chinese New Year across London. The celebrations included a traditional parade complete with dragons, swirling dancers, handcrafted floats, street food stalls, Chinese arts and crafts, music and a dramatic electric firecracker display as the city’s Chinatown hosted a day of family-friendly activities.
