Description : Lagos, Nigeria. Waterfront communities,members of the Nigerian Slum Federation joined by Amnesty International in a peaceful protest in the streets of Lagos. More than 6 months after the court ruling, the state was yet to fulfill its promises and obey the court orders. Otodo Gbame and other waterfront communities staged a peaceful protest to the government house. The protest was billed to last for three nights and days, however, the Nigeria Police Force cracked down on the protesters by 12.28am on 6 and arrested 158 protesters. They were later made to sign an undertaking never to protest to the government house again.
