Description : Mzuri Juma (48 years old) weave baskets from straws in Jangombe Area in Zanzibar. Besides weaving baskets, she also sells charcoal from her home to supplement her income. Since polythene or plastic bags are banned in Zanzibar, baskets she weaves are much in demand. She is a divorcee, but does have children. He son works as a driver, but does not earn much.
