Description : The 1.8 km long Hardinge Bridge over the dried up Padma River, on Dhaka – Kolkata railway line. The bridge connects Pakshi and Bheramara stations on broad gauge railway, from the southwestern division of Khulna to Parbatipur in the northern division of Rangpur. The bridge was built in 1912 by British engineer Sir Robert Gailes and named after Lord Hardinge, the Viceroy of India from 1910 to 1916. Pakshi, Pabna, Bangladesh. October 18, 2009.
