Description : The Ahsan Manzil, at Kumartoli, in Dhaka, on the banks of the Buriganga River. Built in the mid 1800s, it was the residential palace and the kachari of the nawabs of Dhaka and has been turned into a museum. Recognizing the historical and architectural importance of the Ahsan Manzil, the government of Bangladesh took the initiative to renovate it.
