Description : An elderly man wails over his loss in a regrettable incident. Four people including a policewoman reported killed as workers of Nippon Garments and police clashed violently at Ershad Nagar in Tongi this morning. Workers were demonstrating at the factory from 8am over unpaid dues. The situation turned violent when police tried to stop the workers taking the streets. Angry workers damaged and set fire to a number of vehicles, while police started firing tear gas shells and rubber bullets to bring the situation under control. Traffic on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway was blocked due to this clash from 9am to 1pm. Some 50 people including police were injured, according to the witnesses. Dhaka, Bangladesh.
