Description : A man suffering from HIV and AIDS, almost at the last stage of the disease, at a rehabilitation centre in Katmandu, Nepal. AIDS in Nepal is witnessing an unprecedented rise in number with very inadequate means of awareness and treatment. At present there are 62,000 people suffering from AIDS, out of which only 5,564 are reported cases. The number of people who are on ARV treatment is only 365. In this dismal situation, priority is given to create awareness not only among those who are already infected but also those who are not yet diseased.
