Kushum and her family from Morgapara, runs a fishing net business. They make 2 nets per day and sell them weekly, in the markets in Imamganj and Mominpur. Mother of three daughters and one son, she has been a member of Grameen Bank's Micro Credit project for 16 years. First they had taken a loan of Taka 3,000. Gradually they grew confident and loaned Taka 37,000. It was a Yearly loan. They have paid back this loan and now planning to take another one. Mograpara, Narayanganj, Bangladesh. January 29, 2007.
