- Description: Watching adults learn to read and write, reminded me of how tough it had been as a child. In the early nineties I had been commissioned by the Swedish Developmental Agency to tell the story of a remarkable non profit organization in Faridpur called Saptagram (lit. seven villages) Nari Swanirvar Parishad (SNSP). It was a womenâs self reliance movement established in 1976 by late Professor Rokeya Rahman Kabeer an Educationalist. It was wonderful to be in the company of this self assured group of very competent women. Bangladesh.
