Description:
Spotted deer in the National Park of Nijhum Dwip (Nijhum Island), in the shallow estuary of the Bay of Bengal, south of Noakhali district, Bangladesh. December 9, 2009. The Forest Department of Bangladesh created mangrove forests on the island and in 2001 declared it as National Park. The main attraction of the park is a herd of 25000 spotted deer.
