Basgul, 6, an ethnic Hazara girl, making dung cakes, by mixing dung and grass into a bowl, to be used as fuel for cooking, in the village of Zargaran in central Bamyan province. She and her six sisters help out with domestic chores, and making carpets. While Basgul is not yet old enough for school, several of her sisters attend and hope to continue. Afghanistan.
