Majority of the Naga population is engaged in farming and weaving activities. The fairs and festivals of the different Naga tribes showcase the inherent local beliefs of the people of the state. The state consists of 16 major tribes along with other sub-tribes. Each tribe has its own custom and tradition, different dialects and dresses. Above all the people here are warm - hearted and extremely hospitable. Any tourist will enjoy the ambience and feel warmth of hospitality here.
